LAUCKE & CWA SCONE MIX COMPETITION

COMPETITON OUTLINE - BEST SWEET SCONE

• Best variation of scone recipe using Laucke Country Women's Scone Mix (scone mix to be provided upon entry received)

• Only one entry per person, no entry fee

• Entrants are only eligible to win one local final

• Winner to compete in the semi-final to be held at the AGM of MLASA in April 2025

• The 10 association winners will compete in the State Final judged at the 2025 Royal Adelaide Show.

• Entries close Friday 21st March,2025 at 6 pm. No late entries accepted.

• All exhibits to be handed to stewards by 9am sharp on the Friday 28th March, 2025

 

JUDGING GUIDELINES

• 5 scones to be presented for judging

• Scones should be approximately 5cms in diameter

• Well risen, straight sides, thin golden crust top and bottom, no flour base.

• Fine, moist texture, good crumb, good flavour and according to type.
