COMPETITON OUTLINE

Pilot Year Competition

• ​Exhibitors own recipe is to be used

• Best baked item featuring a Native food, can be either sweet or savoury

• Can be 1 large item such as a cake or 5 small identical items such as biscuits

• Native food item labelled on the entry

• Only one entry per person, no entry fee

• Entrants are only eligible to win one local final

• Winner to compete in the semi-final to be held at the AGM of MLASA in April 2025

• The 10 association winners will compete in the State Final judged at the 2025 Royal Adelaide Show.

• Entries close Friday 21st March,2025 at 6 pm. No late entries accepted.

• All exhibits to be handed to stewards by 9am sharp on the Friday 28th March, 2025

JUDGING GUIDELINES

• Baked items to be considered on the creative use of Native Foods, flavour, evenness of baking and merits of its type.
